She is coming along nicely!
I do agree with you on the color. Like someone else had stated earlier, you guys turn out some nice rides. And not just Chevys!!!
Thanks, we have a good Mopar collection underway in the shop in addition to this car. We have a '70 Challenger Convertible, Twin Turbo Viper Powered '69 Charger, and a Dart that the owner wants to build an Auto X sleeper out of.
a few of questions, what are you planning for the tag? what kind of rear suspension setup are you going with, straight axle or IRS?coilovers or air?did you guys make the front k-member?
keep up great work

Started pulling the trigger on the paint today. Decided to mix up a custom color somewhere inbetween the two colors we were looking at. Here are a few pics of a some panels after clearing them. (I was playing with settings on the camera, so the parts look like different colors from one pic to the next) There is another batch in the booth right now. I'll post more in a half hour when they are done.
The body was final primed and is being blocked again. That should be shot in a few days. Need to shoot the underside and then the firewall/inner fender area as well.
Here are a few more pics of suspension parts and small brackets ready to come out of the booth. All were sprayed in a charcoal metallic with a flat clear coat. Other suspension parts are now in the booth and being sprayed in a flat silver to show detail and contrast under the car.
The doors have been all rubbed out, working now on the fenders and deck lid
Painting a good portion of the remaining suspension components
The firewall/inner fender area is prepped and ready for paint.
