Default Awards

In the mild pro-touring class, Mike B. and Mike P. were only beat out by the '66 Mustang "Terminator" we brought (2nd place) and by a Super clean '70 Mustang built by East Bay Muscle Cars (1st place).

My LS2 powered red Camaro Conv't took 1st place in the convertibles class, and a '69 RS/SS conv't we built took 2nd place.

The 1969 GTO Judge we built/brought placed 2nd in the restored class- probably only because the door wasn't open & the customer preferred to have his trunk black instead of Zolatone splatter painted.

The 1971 Chevelle Conv't w/ 555 big block also took 2nd in its class.

Not bad for daily driver cars that didn't really go to compete.

We had a great time, met some awesome people, and were VERY well received!!

Congrats to all.

I have seen that 70 Mustang up close at Good Guys and his shop in Brentwood, and it is an awesome and deserving car.

After reading the list of winners, I retract my statement about trailer queens...lol...it was just a joke anyway. Congrats to all of you and to Steve of EBM with the 70 Mustang for 1st place... , all very deserving!

Thanks guys, we actually had the engine/trans out, interior gutted, and glass out one week before Pomona, so once again it was a thrash to get ready for these indoor shows (San Francisco next week!)but isn't that the way it always goes! Believe me, this car does get driven, but admitedly, not as hard as I usually do, due to the fact it is going up for sale soon. Jason, it was nice meeting you, you had a very nice selection of cars and display as well. Hopefully I'll see some of you at S.F.

I thought you were in a different class. Sorry about the mix up. I thought the car I'm posting was in the same class.
