What a great event... I spent the whole day at the AutoX ....took about 45 min at the end of the day to walk the show.

I'll tell ya... I got the AutoX bug again My wife and I used to AutoX alot before kids.....allitle after our son was born ( my wife actually Autox at 7 months preg with him ).... and then pretty much nothing since our daughter was born almost 3 years ago. I had forgotten how much fun it was and how addictive it can get to see if you can get a better time.

Best I could do was a 40.48x driving my 98 Camaro SS on street tires...respectable, but I was hoping to break into the 39's....

I had a blast....great to meet up with some of the guys again too...long time no see....

Its also so fun to see people take their "PT cars" and actually beat on them some...... put all that top dollar suspension, brakes etc etc and actually use them. You cant beat that... I saw alot of "PT cars" that had all the "bells and whistles" just sitting in the show collecting dust... what a shame

My only wish was that they had more space to make a bigger course.

I hope they post the video to the Air Ride Nova soon... the driver said he had the camera on for that run

This Corvette was FAST.
Yeah, he was damn fast, BUT he was on slicks. Mary was on DOT tires. She was in the 36.XXX times, and the Vette was 35.XXX. Pretty impressive!

I was just out there to have fun. I was running DOT Kuhmo V710's. Great to see people driving their cars hard, not just looking the part.

Here's a couple more pics of the auto-x participants:

I suggested this compound and tread pattern to Mary for this event but she declined...
