Check out this site http://autobodystore.com/home.shtml. Alot of good info. I would either plastic media blast if the car is all apart. If not, then I would use the Makita buffer with 40 or 60 grit discs.

OK... It was a very, VERY messy job but I think the worst of it is over. I would up using a grinder and a poly stripping pad to get through the 2K primer then used aircraft stripper to get the other layers off. I still have to DA the whole thing but before I do, I have a couple of other hurdles to get over.
