Thanks Eric -- will do!

It's hot and humid here at the MIL's place (the one that calls my shop "the shed"..) but at least my room is in the basement... :>)

See ya tomorrow!

Oh boy -- been there and done that!! And it's a longer haul dragging a trailer too!

Well - that's what a coffee thermos was designed for... right?

Was great to finally meet some of you!! I sure had a good time blabbing away like a little girl... :>)

Tim -- Thanks so much for hosting us all. What a great day... great shop... and wonderful family you have. You're a lucky man. Your work is awesome - I'm so jealous of your talent! I learned a bunch just from being near you... :>)

Chris -- Time to "reveal" your next project... then we can all start throwing huge costly ideas for you to spend your time and money on! LOL

Ned -- Car looks killer... I have two questions for you?

#1: How many cows do you have to bury your arm in to move it along from here?

#2: What was your ratio of wheel time vs. Robs?

Eric -- Good to finally meet you and your family. Thanks for inviting me to go to this event. See you at Chris's @ GoodGuys

Thanks Greg, it was nice to finally meet you too. VERY NICE Nomad by the way!
I had a great time and it was nice to put faces to names. My wife and son also enjoyed the day. She drove home, I slept , we got here about 1:30 am.
Thanks to Tim and his family for having us out and letting me drool all over the projects in the shop and ask a million questions!
And thanks to everyone else there, I really enjoyed just hanging out and having good conversation with a bunch of really nice people. Good times.
I have a ton of pictures of the cars and people there. I will do what I can to get them posted asap.

Chris, thanks for the short cut around the I 5 construction. It saved us at least an hour.

Tim ---- Remember me telling you guys about the MIRROR finished SS fuel tank I built for a buddy... and I said I'd never seen MIRROR finished SS before and that you could truly use it for a mirror if you wanted to.... and how much effort I spent trying to keep it from warping while TIG'n her up... Here's a pix.
