Yes the car is very very nice and more than a driver.......

But if you can afford to shell out that much $$ to build it.... then you should be able to shell out the money to fix it if it gets damaged

Cars are meant to be driven......

X2. It should be driven. It can be repaired.
But I am sure the owner has his reasons and to him they matter enough to sell the car. I hope the next owner does drive it.

Some people enjoy the build way more then the actual end product. I have quite a few customers that are like that. They could almost care less about driving the car no matter what it is, They get all into the design and engineering, and are ready to conquer the next idea.

Just like some guys like women for their personality.....

I don't care how nice it comes out......

I'm still driving the piss out of it!!!!

I guess I see it from the viewpoint of the industry that I'm in. Denim just gets better with age. Sure they're nice when they're crisp and dark indigo but the more you wear it(drive it) and it starts to wear the nicer they become. I'm sure in my build, a freshly painted car will be awesome but I'm not all that concerned with a few rock chips and cone rash here and there. That's the reason I'm spending the money! To enjoy it both visually and viscerally!!!

I can always repaint it!!!

John
