if the strut still had enough travel you could just compress the strut more and make it shorter and install at that lenght. just set your coilovers to the right preload for the desired height. But maybe for the lowered mustangs some strut manufacturer has a shorter one.

i would love to. I think i will build my own strut with rear steer for my dads 65 k-model mustang drag car, with out drilling any new holes. Then we can compare some notes. HAHA.

sounds good...get it done and then we can see the results sooner, because I doubt this will be done anytime soon, regrettably!

Umm, prolly not what you want but how bout a Mustang II suspension. You will gain ALOT of room. I have a 62 nova that had a strut tower. I was able to remove all that extra bulk. Dunno, just a thought. JR
