I usually dont like those cars, but that is a killer rendering, and makes me think different now I'm just wondering how much the overall look will change with that type/size of rear tire

did they do another rendering with different sized rim and sidewall heights?

Just back from Minnesota to check on the build.Although I am pleased the car is coming along and the quality of work that has been done is fantastic,I'm not too happy with the slow progress. All the sheetmetal is in and in process of being installed except the roof skin. From what the shop says it's on back order.

The front and rear frame rail have been cut on their Torchmate machine so all we need to do is install the front/rear frame rails, rear floor pan,rad supp, inner fernder wells, then the car goes off to the body shop. They feel the roof skin should be in next week.

If all goes well and as planned, the car will be painted at the end of April and I'll go back out there for that.

This is how we're going to run the exhaust. We are going a step further though as the headers will have an eclectric dump switch to exit out the side and then at the flip of a switch it will exit straight thru the headers when I want to set off car alarms or crack windows

When I was at the shop we changed a few things. That always seems to happen during a build. For example, the brake master cyclinder will be under the dash and out of the engine compartment. The only thing in the engine compartment will be the coil and fuel regulator.Everything else will be hidden.

We decided to put on fiberglass front/rear bumpers cut and molded into the body for a more contour look. The side scoops will not have that horseshoe type insert and that will be molded in as well. The roof drip rail will be shaved too.

The rear valance will not have backup lites and all that will be filled in with metal. The front/rear side marker lites will be filled in too.

I am happy with the quality, fabrication and craftsmanship Doom but at the same time I'm disappointed with the slow progress but I suppose that's the price I have to pay for perfection.

I cannot give enough props to Clay, the metal fab guy with Memory lane classics. The guy is really talented

You know, their also very busy too. They have about 23 cars in line for a build. Two cars in particular that their working on will be Ridler cars. One is a 66 Charger with a BMW drivetrain and interior. The other is a 59 convertible Impala.
