Not the steak I had envisioned.

Honestly, how does that taste? Because it does not sound too tasty at the moment. But then again I have never tried that.

It wasn't that great but what a natural jolt..... I have some others with more fruits that are much better. And no I'm not a vegan.

Does that fill you up though Todd? I would figure you'd be hungry again an about an hour or two after this drink? Kudos for you for eating well though.

During the week I juice and go to the gym for about an hour. I then come home and eat some oatmeal, peanut butter sandwich, or granola. The juice gives you a nice boost of energy to have a great workout on a light stomach. After the workout it's nice to eat something to fill you up. We went for a walk this morning then I had a bagle. I just started a week ago but I'm hooked on it. My energy levels have been noticably better naturally. I've done a couple others that are tastier:

2 carrots
1 apple
Handfull of strawberries
2 handfuls of fresh cranberries

2 carrots
Cantelope
Handful of grapes
2 handfuls of cranberries
Handful of spinach

I've been busting my balls at the gym for a long time and partying like a rock star. Lately I've been drinking alot less and living a little cleaner. What a difference!

That's a great way to go Todd. Use the juice in the am BEFORE working out, then come home and have the oatmeal, peanut butter and stuff AFTER working out. I usually always get hungry after working out. Mind you, I don't push my body as much as I used to. When I was younger, I used to do 90lb. dumbbell flat bench presses. Shoulders were blasted with 70lb dumbbell presses!! (YIKKEESS!!) lol
I still slightly heavy. I always try to go for walks and have an apple after wards.
Keep up the good work bro!!

I would really like to get into the routine of the walks and gym. We have such crappy weather here during the fall and winter it's hard to keep it going all year round (the walking) and we live next to a nice size lake with perfect roads for walking, not too much traffic or crazy dogs. But when it rains I just do not want to go. Now for the diet, I have changed that a lot in the last few months and it does make a HUGE difference. Even just doubling my water intake makes a big difference. It has cut down on my headaches by over 50% by itself. I have trashed shoulders so I can't do much upper body and both knees are also hammered so I have to watch the running at the gym but I can work on the cardio stuff. And I need to do more.
I am going to try your breakfast recipies Todd and see how I feel in 2-3 weeks. Thanks for the kick in the ass. I needed it!

Yep...two of my favorites. I'm doing 90's and 100's for a set of 10 and then to 110's for 5-7 reps. I had a really good bench in my early 20's but can't stand it anymore. Hurts my shoulders. I do all dumbells and smith machines now. I've been doing a set of 10 with 80's for military press for 6 months. I've tried 85's and I'm afraid I'll get hurt so I've stopped.

Try it Eric, you'll be surprised.

I will. I am going to get a new blender/juicer today. I will let you know how it goes. Thanks!

Hey, do you ever throw in calcium or any other vitamin suplements? Or do you feel the natural ones in the fruits and veg are enough?
