Denvervet- We have two seasons here. "summer" in SW Florida is October through April. "Hell" is May through September. "Hell" weeds out the weak, most of those with blue hair along with those that can't drive properly or use a grocery shopping cart without blocking the entire aisle, which makes for the best time of the year to be here.

I couldnt handle it. It was in the 30's and drizzly most of yesterday. It made me soo miserable. I cant stand the cold and or wet stuff. I long for the warmth of the summer already and its not even officially winter yet.

I lived in Ft Worth for a year and after growing up here in Seattle I thought the weather in Tx was pretty nice. (except the heat in summer was a bit much). This week we have had lows in the high "teens" and highs in the mid 30's. But it has been clear and sunny which makes it nice.

Today was our coldest day yet --it was about 49 this morning where I am in South OC Cali---warmed up to appox 63---actually turned the heater on in the house tonight for first time--smelled like it was on fire---

Now is a good time to move to So Cal if you are fed up with the cold elsewhere--lot's of people leaving--lot's of empty houses---hope mine isn't one of them in the next couple of years

Sorry to hear the weather is so "frightful"... the weather here is beautiful - wish you were...

Seriously -- we have the patio doors wide open listening to the surf (the biggest on the Northshore in 40 years!)

BTW -- GUYS!! That's why they make PLANES... to get the heck OUT of freezeville... It's seriously wonderful here in Hawaii...

Aloha!
