Default rambler

yeah

its not showroom new but its a nice driver. had he pulled the motor and painted the engine compartment also, it would probably look new.only thing he didnt paint white was the inner fenders, firewall and engine side of the core support they are flat black and Ill probably do that at when i yank the 6.

Hi Tom, really glad to see you're working & things are turning around for you. The new ride looks awesome, & it's better than both of my Ramblers.

Randy thanks, this last year was awfull and this is a little motivator.
Im really glad to be working again. I have space in the back of the service department shop i manage to park my car daily and when the time comes do a little work on it. Im feeling a little better knowing i can enjoy the car hobby again even if it is on a smaller scale. Only problem is i come on here everyday and the wheels start turning.I have a 5.3 then i need a tko/ranger 8.8 rear.wheels. THIS IS WHATS HAPPENS TO YOUR BRAIN ON LATERAL-G..
Randy,im looking forward to seeing what you do with yours.
thanks again
Tom

Default Cool Old Daily Drivers!

I almost picked up a 62 Tempest and donor car for $2500 for the exact same reasons my friend! Just to have a cool old daily driver!! This one was also a driver, came with an extra engine and a couple of carbs/intakes PLUS a donor car with a 4-speed... I debated about it after talking with my Dad about their problematic "rope" drive shafts and missed out on the deal... woulda been fun though with the "half a 389" 4-cyl/4-speed!

We need LOTS of pics when you pick it up!!! Before and after detailing etc!

Looks good Tom, just do some simple suspension work, run some wider steel wheels/tires with caps and have some fun.
