I have $220K total in agreed-to value on all 4 of my cars and my premiums are less than $500/yr.

again, check several. I tried both of the above and they were both higher than Grundy FOR ME................ Tamra was a lot higher on my Chevelle, yet she's killer pricing on Johns cars. What is the best price-wise for one may not be the best for the next guy. Also, make sure you read the restrictions, some companies are much more relaxed than others.......... cost is not the only thing that matters.

I also use Hagerty with an agreed value policy.

Hagerty here.

From what i found they have less driving restrictions than most insurance companies.

But still no track coverage.

I went through Tamra on mine, she was about $50 cheaper than Hagerty for me. I'm only 26, so I thought the $300 i spent for a $35,000 policy was pretty darn good.

I've read my policy pretty closely,I can't see where MK is more restrictive than others but it don't matter much to me personally as I don't drive any of these cars much.

She said no coverage if I take the Buick down the 1/4 mile, told he that's unlikely, lol.

I wasn't speaking of MK in particular being restrictive, we never got past the pricing stage. I don't think she liked my Chevelle, or the turbos.............. My credit was very good, live in a very low crime zip code, no wrecks or tickets, etc............... she was actually the highest I quoted, and by a bunch. So yeah, she didn't like the car......................

I have settled a claim with hagerty while a GTO I restored was in my care. The car suffered storm damage ( a TON of it, trailer got hit by freak tornado on the highway) while being transported back to the owners and was covered under their unfinished policy. Their claims department was incredible... I sent photos back and forth, we settled on a price ( I wrote the estimate for repairs and they approved, never dickering on labor or parts prices... not even once) and they had a check to me within a week to start the repair process. The vehicle suffered more that 10K in hail damage, and Hagerty was a wonderfully easy company to deal with. I used to own and manage autobody shops in the past, and believe me you can tell alot about an insurance company by the way they settle a claim. It's not all about the best premium, more of the follow-through matters. Hagerty won me over on that experience alone.

Just my two cents.

KT.
