Well, we replaced the rack today. We're now running a "Best of Show spec" rack , spec'd to our liking from the local auto parts store (we got to choose from four matching part numbers - not sure how that works), haha. Got it all back together and it feels like we've got an entirely different car now. I can't believe what I've been missing out on for the last 2000 miles, not to mention my time of the track or autocross. Now I know why Scott and Todd have been raving about their subframes so much. This may sound obvious and stupid, but the functioning rack just ties everything together giving it an exceedingly solid, precise and firm feel that lies somewhere between something OE and something race car like.

I also have to thank DSE, because while I picked up our rack locally, when I called them first thing in the morning they spent some time trying to track down the part number for me.
