yeah I'm bringing the Nova out. Trying to get an 11.40 out of it before we add some more speed parts to it. I'll see you at the track.

Oh hey! I didn't know you were a member.

For sure - I got the replacement pistons in today and the crank is getting rebalanced on Sunday, so I'll put the engine back together Monday and hopefully have it running by Tuesday! Wow, that's a lot of days to type out.

last time I went 11.60 @ 122 but the converter is all wrong so the 60' was a terrible 1.79. Gonna play with the timing tables and put a 41 shooter in the rear to chop it down a little. We'll see.

it's a stock '03 vette LS1 with a Trex cam and a carb on top. Everything else is pretty stock except for the ported oil pump and some supportive parts. I'm running a TH350 with a lame 2200 street converter and a 3.73 gear. The cam doesn't come on till around 3K so I have a funky dead spot outta the hole. I'm swaping to a T56 this winter so no sense in buying a new 'verter or a transbrake. I'd like to pull the heads and throw on some AFRs or ported 243s but it'll be next spring before that happens. The little LS traps pretty hard for what it is so I'm happy.
