PM replied.
As I decribed, these shocks came out of my 69 Camaro before it went to auction. Don't know what PNs they were, but they were in that car.
All parts were removed from the car by Frank @ prodigy. He can verify if there is any question.

The correct QA-1 rear shock part number for 1969 Camaro is TC1915P. I know because I have one good one and one broken one in my car and all I needed was one. Thats what I thought I was getting. I dont blame Frank for pulling them out, they were the wrong shock for the car. Like I said, the shocks you sent me are part no. TC1539P and are for ford and Dodge. The bodies are 14" long as opposed to the correct shock body that is 12" long. Are you telling me you are going to stick me with these? Thats not how we operate around here and I suggest you do the right thing, thanks.

I will be sending the shocks back to you because I cant use them. What you do from there is up to you.

First off, I am not blaming Frank for anything. All I suggested was that he can verify what they came out of if there was any question. These are what was in the car, and that is what was decribed in the for sale ad. I did not list any part # because I didn't know what it was, and I still would not be able to verify it because I don't have the orignal reciept for them.
I really don't appreciate your comments that I'm trying to stick you with something.

The part numbers are stamped on top of the shock body. When you say they came out of a '69 Camaro you lead people to believe they are the correct shock for the application.

If this was reversed I would do the right thing. Let me give you an example: I have a set of fenders going to El Torro (RTTC) to another member here. He did not have the opportunity to look at them so I told him if he didn't like them he could give them back and I would refund his money. Thats the way things should work around here being we are a tight knit community and should be looking out for each others interests.

Either way, I can't use them and I will be sending them back to you.
