Default viper engine in 2nd gen?

So has anyone tried this ? came across a good price on a complete viper engine and was wondering if anyone has tried to attempt putting one in a second gen camaro ?? thanks for any input ...

Unless it was an aluminum block version the weight would be detrimental to any handling but would definitely be a powerhouse and unique to boot.

I have seen Viper engines in a lot of mopars but never in a chevy. My brother inlaw and I were going to put one in a 79 corvette but the weight and cost would be to high to do.

But all in all it would be cool to see.

Weight too high? Uhh, they weight less than the small block that was in there from the factory

But it would be expensive, and a nightmare to package, plus it's sacriledge to put a mopar engine in a chevy.

Save the $$ and drop a monster SB2.2 in it. (isn't that a statement, save $$ and SB2.2)

Leave the Mopar engine swaps to the Mopar guys. How about an all aluminum big block??
