OK, according to the Newmad builder's website...

"Topping it all off--and tying together the old-yet-new theme--is a traditional two-tone paint scheme done up in modern paint. The NewMad's body wears House of Kolor Majestic Blue with Kandy Cobalt, while its roof is decked out in House of Kolor White Pearl (www.houseofkolor.com)."

That sounds like a 3 stage system.

No it did not go through the auction. I was across from it for a week and a half. I had the Black 1968 RS/SS Pro tour across the aisle from Steve's Auto Restorations, the booth at which "Newmad" and her owner Dave Hall were camped out at for the duration of the show. Pictures can not do this car justice, those guys did an amazing job. The trim on the sides is formed and machined 1/4" aluminum plate that was cnc'd to read "Newmad" aswell as having a bull-nose on the radius of the edges, then frenched into the side. That is just the tip of the iceburg with regards to the "little" stuff, that really sets this one apart. Did you get any pics of our car?

If you look at the tie rod location they reversed it on the spindle for wheel clearance. That should make it pretty scary to drive. There are quite a few things I noticed on this thing. For a 400,000 I'm not impressed at all. Shoot for 25,000 i'm not impressed.

That car was at SEMA I think in 2002 it was over look buy many because of the troy 62 chevy with the twin turbo.the car is killer in person they add like 10" in the front fender the the car was in the super rod magzine build section.I think in nov 02 it state the color.
