You can bring the car, but I can't afford to hire any help as cheap as you are so not sure I will allow you much track time.....

Hey Guys, I forgot to mention something in my post.
This year we are doing something different. We will have a full on car show at every venue. I know some of you just don't race your car so we are making room to have a car show at each event. I think it will add to the events, and give everyone a reason to come out. Now, I just need volunteers to judge each show, cause I am afraid my system wouldn't work. See, I would give points for rubber on the quarter panels....haha

Personally, I think a car SHOULD get extra points for being driven vs. having perfectly polished rim shells. After all, the venture is all about USING cars, right?

Absolutely! I've heard Bill and Finch both say it's about getting away from the static car shows and driving the cars. A regular car show within a RTTx event doesn't quite seem consistent IMO with the whole theme.

But if it's in the name of drawing more entrants as a business model, well that's another story.

It's all good. Having a car show will have no bearing on others driving their cars around a track. If it attracts more people that is a good thing. The guy polishing the car will also probably watch you others race and maybe get into it. They most likely will bring their kids. I started this journey with car shows and judged shows with numbered z28's LS6's, Yenko camaro's etc, and saw the Mule and have not looked back.

Bill, keep up the good work.
