Believe me I know that all to well about not being plug and play. I work for a body shop where we do all custom work and we're constantly doing fabrication. I just want to know if anyone has done it before this way I'm not wasting money on a dash. I think it will fit I measured both dashes side to side and they measure 54 1/4 if I remember correctly so the width will be fine I just have to focus on depth and getting the steering column and what not to work. Thanks, I'll be sure to post progress pics when the time comes!

Great, sounds like you know what is going on. Changes in a dash are not easy for the average folk. I'm looking forward to your pics.

that's nice. I like the dash in the new Camaros for a tribute to the '69. For a '68 I wish that the gauge pods were rounded. The square look doesn't do it for me. That's cool that DSE is doing this! They do great work.
