Yeah, they would look good on the 88 car.

Fake carbon is cheesy and won't tie in to the real carbon if you have it. Id say go black with a polished look or brushed look. But thats just my opinion

If you do decide on the Fesler wheels they usually take about 8-9 months by the way.....

Agree John on the fake/real mix and match.

I absolutely agree with both of you. These wheels are not fake in a sense. The center discs are hand overlaid in real Carbon Fiber and cost over 8K. A closer look below.

HRE makes a wheel with a real, full, 100% carbon barrel. But they start about $12k....about $3k per wheel. Like everyone else...no black on black. Maybe a brushed, polished, titanium or grey wheel center IMO.

360 Wheels makes a beautiful product!

Also, that HRE wheel is pure sex. I've read on 6Speedonline - not sure how true - Carbon barrels leak. Not sure it's every wheel, but something to think about before blowing a wad o' caish...

Wow real cf wheels! Those are awesome. Id be afraid to drive my car with those on. If I hit a pothole I would cry

These Fesler wheels were my second choice and would look cool on a black car. Or NewGen Spyders in black are pimp too... When I get more $$$ I want some 18 inch spiders

Thanks for all the feedback, much appreciated. What do you think about these wheels. Maybe a black pinstripe instead of red?

Generally polished or brush/polish look great w black IMO. I'm presonally not a fan of black wheels on a black car (need some contrast like gunmetal or titanium), but it's your car so there's no wrong choice...
Well, that explains a lot. Hater.

black pinstripe would not be that noticeable.

Those Rushforths are nice but on a black car I would do the hoop gloss black and the inside brushed or polished. Or the inside satin black with a polished or brushed hoop. It will add contrast

If you want something different and have no budget try these... May not be everyones flavor but the Martellato and Pianura look promising. (Around 1000-1200 wheel)

Or these in AF 134 or AF 135 if you don't mind waiting 9 months (About 1200 per wheel if you want custom paint)

It all comes down to what look you want for your car and what YOU like.
