what about dry ice blasting. i am sure that shouldn't warp the panels. any one use that before?

The "warping the panels" issue has alot to do with the guy running the nozzle....if he knows what hes doing, it wont be an issue..if you get a moron with an aggressive media sitting in one spot for a long time, it will generate heat...

Find a reputable shop to do it and you will be fine

ALL of the stripping techniques have pros/cons.....

That post about no media blasting should not scare anyone off we have been using a media blaster for over 8 years and he has not ruined anything yet. Just go see the shop and what they use there are 100s of media to do the right job. It is the best and most effective way to clean up a car from top to bottom unless you have lots of time and don’t mind getting dirty. Just make sure that you seal the metal when finished or it will be a waste of your time.
