Making a little more progress!

The last of the cancer has been removed!

Subframe has been seam welded and ready for some black LIC 40.

The Chassisworks strut braces:

...and starting to mock up the rear suspension.

Ran into a little hiccup, the shocks were missing. Oh well, I should receive them in early Jan. Happy Holidays!

It should be a real nice car, when done.

I am really liking the wall art though too. Kool!

Default In your footsteps -

I am still working out the little gremlins on my 64 Corvette RestoMod (yours being an inspiration for my build) and you have already started a new project after the 63 !! Amazing!

How on earth did you convince your wife and family to do another one and so soon??

I ask because my dilemma with the Vette is that I cannot take the whole family with me. The Camaro and a Nomad circle in my mind for a future project.

Let me know.....

Dan

About a year before my 63 was complete, my wife mentioned something about taking the girls to car shows in the vette. I looked at her with a sad face and said I would only be able to take one of them in the vette. A few months later, I said, holy crap honey, I am the winning bidder on a 69 camaro... I got the look and mumbled something about it having a back seat. After I explained that it would be another project that would be a few years out, AND it would be an automatic so she could drive it as well she warmed to the idea... well not really warmed, but the ice melted a bit. I also gave the choice of exterior and interior colors, and let her pick the gauges. Now I am toying with the idea of a rollup garage door and installing a 4 post lift in the garage to save some space. You know, so she can still have some walking room in the garage.

I also wanted all the rust and bad body work removed from my 69.

Mocking up rear 4 link

Lining up the subframe

Cool black and white on all 4s

Everything is lining up nicely

Still have a lot of work to do, but it is exciting to see it on all 4s again!
