We've heard for about a year that AT&T wanted to buy BellSouth. And now, I guess I'll be working for AT&T next year. Point is, if you heard a rumor, it may be true.

That would be almost as bad as a German based Automaker buying one of our domestic automakers. . .

That is simply a rumor, and that is all. GM is still crawling out of its hole, but at a better pace. The only rumor I have read was in the Wall Street Journal this week about replacing Wagner as Chief.

It should be illegal for a foreign company to own any part of a US company. Period. Don't bother trying to debate me on it. This crap has gone of far too long and it needs to stop. Hopefully this deal with our ports will start making people think but I doubt it. That was simply an issue over security.
I am very conservative, and very patriotic I think, but I am also a strong believer that you really need to understand the facts behind issues, before passing judgment. I am not going to spark a debate, we talk about cars here, but please...look into the facts a bit more.

I don't see this happening....GM has part stock ownership in Toyota...unless they buy that back out as part of the deal which would be obvious. I still don't see it happening.

I work at a Delphi site & I have heard that more than once. But I hope it doesn't happen.

Things would have to get MUCH worse for GM for that to happen IMO.
