Cat and dog question

I hear ya I hear ya. I was really thinking a cat cuz I seen a mouse or 2 in the yard and my dog just sits there, the mighty hunter she is And a snake is out of the question

The Schipperke would probably get mice. They were bred to be used on the river barges in Belgium to keep the rats at bay. My friends dog would come out a field hunt birds with us and the German Short Hairs and his Lab. The little midget would be out front! I don't think they weight over 20#. They're little jet-black hairballs. Seriously they're not much bigger than a really big cat.

I've been around a couple of those Schipperkes before though I had no idea what they were. The ones I met were cool dogs and fun. With that said, I like my cat and can't wait til I can get a dog.
