It was a 1969 datsun 510 with black enkei wheels , bright yellow , no jnterior and offcourse air shocks back in 1989 that was cool ( I think ). I told mom I wanted to buy the a car down the street. Her imediate reply was your only fifteen and you can't drive, so NO.
So what's a kid to do , Disobey your parents it is. I was working a local supermarket part time and pretty soon and $1000.00 later it was mine. The car would stay at my buddy's garage for now. Until I could convince the folks. Fixed a few issues like put in seats and got it on the road, had never driven much less a stick shift so imagine the fun.
It was a very short lived but almost worth the $$. Got pulled over about a month later , car got impounded , turned out to be TAG job and my car was gone before I could even let the lady's see it. Should had listened to mama!
Two years later got my self a 1984 Camaro w 305, got a deal on some corvette wheels. Some cast aluminum adapters later and I had me the only Camaro in town w those wheels. Yeah this one lasted me a while and lady's most definety got to see inside of that one ( mostly the head liner )
Than came The 1989 TPI IROC Convertible blk on blk 3 lane IROC wheels. I loved those camaros I couldn't believe why everybody didn't drive one. I just thought it was the best car in the world , besides all the rattling coming from your dashboard when you ran over an ant I liked that model 1982-1992. man I put miles on that thing. Never wanted a convertible after that. It was cool in late 80s early 90s ( I think )

no trying to offend Any one but convertibles are for girls and chumps / yuppies
