I have a buddy that has a true 914 6 cylinder and runs the autocross. The thing is a blast!

They are such a go kart! Has there been a production car with a lower butt to ground dimension?

They were no slouch with a built 2180 motor back in the day.....but anything with a reliable 250-300 hp would be good fun!

I have a customer of mine who races a Subaru powered 914, its wicked fast too.

Good looking car, I'd like to see the underside. I know a lot of guys run Subaru motors in off-road buggies and sand rails due to hp/wgt/$ ratio. The CG of a mid-engine flat motor can't be a bad thing! The availability and cost of Subaru performance parts vs Porsche is also very appealing.
