Even though it's an indicated number that car appears to be a beast! I know a stock Ducati 1198 will only pull about 175 down the straight when by-passing that chicane.

He's got to do something with that fugly air cleaner though! I was wondering when I first saw exterior pictures if it looked worse from the drivers perspective.......it does.

Good! Sieg and I <no! We are not becoming a couple> will be running Sonoma Raceway event - NorCal Shelby Mini Nats that weekend... Charley will be at Hot August Nights.... Ron Sutton will once again be suckered in to be my pit boss! Keeping me calm and out of trouble -- while we work with new tires for the Lotus and Mustang and try to get a few more details ironed out before some big plans this winter.

So if you don't make it to Ptown --- come see us at Sonoma!

You and Sig a couple...you brought that up not me. That may be a option, and save me lots of money. Thanks for the heads up. Laura said she may even bake you a something. You know, since you like her and not me. HAHA.

It's not "bailing" so much as it is... er.... uh.... Well.... We'd rather drive than watch someone else drive...

My toys don't qualify for USCA... and I have ZERO interest in trying to make either one of them anything that is even fake "street car".... Not so much as a turn signal... and they're NEVER EVER NEVER EVER going to run 200 TW anything...

So I pondered and thought and did that for at least a 1/10th of a second before the decision was very clear -- drive my cars at Sonoma... or sit and watch some cars run PIR.... It really wasn't a tough decision. LOL

By the way -- this (my not making PIR USCA) should by no means be taken as a lack of support for USCA - Jimi and Wally (FM3) and Optima Battery (Cam Douglas) and all the other sponsors have built you guys one hell of a great series! I know that because I went to Laguna Seca - and to Texas Motor Speedway events!

I just don't get enough track time as it is -- and the dates conflict with NorCal Shelby Mini Nats at Sonoma -- otherwise I'd be at PIR in a heartbeat!!

BOOOOOO! I don't get it, drive in beautiful Sonoma or stand around in Portland...oh wait, now I see.

It looks like Potland is a Thursday through Saturday event, so maybe you can swing in on the way south? Or just honk as you blast through!
