I helped him out on some of the smaller details. He built this car himself.

Default T56 Swap

Wow it all looks amazing. Hope to get some assistance. I'm newer to the site and am starting a build after tearing down a decent driver. Cars a 66 chevelle and as I'm working on the chassis I curious what suggestions are out there for a crossmember. I am putting a T56 behind and LS2 and am doing some custom cross bracing along with frame boxing. I could adapt to accommodate some different products and just wondering if you have any advice or suggestions short of building one.

You can modify the stock crossmember. The last T-56 we did we cut the mount pad off and turned the crossmember around then welded it back up.


Speedtech and HPI customs makes a nice retrofit cross member and bracing.
