JC Taylor Insurance...WTH?

So I applied for classic car insurance from these yahoos and get denied coverage. First off, they have insurance for stock and modified cars. I apply for modified and answer all questions honestly...my mistake I guess! My first reason was that my engine had been beefed up to a little over 500HP. Anything over 500 and your'e denied. Most musclecars of the 60's had over 400 at the crank. So I get denied for having an extra 100. They also deny cars with roll cages. Guess they don't know that cages make the car stiffer and handle better making it safer than stock. Denied!! I also was too honest and said that I would be taking the car to amateur track events and autocrosses. So hitting orange cones in a big-ass parking lot is also a no-no.
So my lesson learned is don't upgrade your chassis or engine to make the car safer and more fuel efficient or else the Prius desk jockeys will shoot you down. Oh and don't be honest with these folk. Just lie your ass off!! Thanks JC!!
