Jody's correct.
Unfortunately, it seems that to get an agreed value policy your usage needs to be almost exclusively in connection with car events.
I talked to a number of companies and brokers about the planned use of my car for independent (i.e., not Power Tour) trips cross country and up and down the west coast and for the occasional trip into town. In each case, my car would not have been covered under an agreed use policy when used in such a fashion.
I was assured that I could get the car insured, but I didn't want to find myself without insurance because I was using it outside of the policy requirements.
As a result, I've got a stated value policy and will get an annual appraisal to try to improve my chances of a decent settlement in the event of a claim.
