Never in my life have I ever seen it rain as hard as what we went thru the last night of the 2004 power tour on our way thru Chicago heading towards Michigan. Every car on the highway including semi trucks pulled of the road. Zero visibility. It was the first time in my life I was actually scared behind the wheel of a car.

Well, the story is not exacty correct. I was right behind those 2 in Lisa's WS6, I saw it coming and took the hit (Matted it before they did) from 100 feet behind them. Jason was doing a good job with Bob, but is mistaken, it was 135MPH when we lifted! I figure Bob hit 160 as he had no clue he lost Jason for a half mile, LOL! No mirrors, how could he see, LOL! I REALLY wish i could have got the video camera out, but if i did all you would have geard was me screaming, LIFT! LIFT! LIFT!!!! Scared me, I was sure he blew it up. Jason was a cool customer, never got rattled. Frst the broom, then this, kept his cool very well.

For a couple days I had been disappointed about not having Prodigy on the tour, but when those two lined up, I couldn't help but notice a third empty lane. Then I was really disapointed.

One thing you got to take your hat off too. These guy's were not only driving a million dollars worth of cars, then were driving them like they were stolen, and that my friends deserves some respect.

And yeah, it rained on parts of the tour.

Awesome story Frank. Glad we got the truth!! 160 MPH Big round of applause to both those guys. Nice to see the cars being used for what they were built for! Just one of the many stories that will be talked about for along time.

Motor in cuda 572 Hemi, but under power sounds like a fuel dragster.
Let the record reflect, I was not racing, I was not speeding, I was just the one they all passed. I was on a reasonable pace and BAM, there they go. I do not speed, I obey all laws. Speeding is bad. (Insurance agent may be lurking)
And for the record, Bob called as soon as he saw what was going on. Trouble was at 160 or so, he had already gotten about a 1/2 mile down the road by the time he was back down to 65. I told him to go on, but he called back in a few minutes to see if everything was ok.
