So I mounted the tires and fooled around with some other stuff. Mostly just a lot of measuring and planning to get the front suspension geometry and steering right. I don't have my wheel adapters yet but I couldn't help mocking up for pictures again.
Spent the last week or so planning and ordering parts. Hopefully most everything shows up before Christmas so that I can use the free time to work on it. I'm lucky to have a friend at Bullseye. When I finally broke down and decided I needed a turbo, they had one for me the next day. It's a billet wheel S366. Should be instant boost and still make 500ish whp, great autocross setup.
Got the steering squared away. Took some figuring but I'm happy with how it came out. The rack is out of a Dodge Ram which kills two birds with one stone. Obviously it's a rack and has a much quicker ratio than the old steering box (2.75 vs 4.5). But it's also set up to accept the high pressure power steering pump on the Hemi. So no special pump or regulator like everyone else uses. Very little bump steer. I left some adjustment holes to account for suspension changes in the future. I can also take ackerman steer out with spacers if I want to try that.
