Default 1966 Pro-Touring Ford Mustang Fastback: DSE, Heidt's Pro-G IRS, etc

We've been working on this car for a little while now....and I thought it was time to start a build thread. The owner of this Mustang has been a huge help along the way. We're just grateful to be apart of such a cool build. So, here are the details........

Pro-Touring 1966 Ford Mustang Fastback
The owner of this car really wanted to keep with a fairly stock appearance. But, like a lot of car's being built on this site, he wanted something with modern performance and comfort. So, the exterior body mods will be kept to a minimum with the exception of smoothed and tucked bumpers, smoothed drip rails without moldings, and possibly painted(or powder-coated) window moldings. To meet the performance demands, here's a list of parts.....
  • Detroit Speed & Engineering Aluma-frame front suspension
  • Heidt's Pro-G Independent Rear Suspension
  • Ford Racing Aluminator 5.0L Coyote
  • Tremec T56 Transmission
  • Centerforce Clutch
  • Magnaflow Exhaust with SpinTech oval exhaust
  • American Autowire Wiring
  • Painless Performance Push Button Start
  • Vintage Air Heating and A/C
  • Schott Wheels
  • Baer Front Brakes & Wilwood Rear Brakes

Here's what we started with.....
