I cannot imagine the emotional free fall of having a nice car, taking it in for a few upgrades and then have to basically go back to square one.

Wouldn't want to be the guy that sold it, that is for sure!

Seems like a guy could make a good living by inventing a sort of X-ray machine that would easily reveal this crap. Most people, myself included, don't have the skills to detect that kind of crap.

Those people need to be horsewhipped, drawn and quartered, and vivisected.

Mustangs suck for this. The metal is just thin and not sealed. If i ever build another fast back for myself Im going Goodmark all the way.

I am not understanding why he is investing so much more money in a coupe. He should cut his losses and move his parts over to a fastback shell where he at least stands a chance of recouping his investment.

These are the last photos I will post on this thread. I will start a new one once the parts come in to start the restoration.

The upper and lower cowl came off as one piece only had two small welds close to the windshield pillar on both sides
