Default Planning a road trip.

Hey guy's, its been a while since I have been on here. I have been extremely busy! I need some help planning a road trip, well actually its my honey moon! I am getting married on July 18th and my bride to be and I plan on going south of the border for a little cruise in the convertible. She left this up to me to sort out (first mistake) and here I am planning this last minute!

I am looking for ideas for spots to check out as I am torn between looking at some of the farm land from North Dakota to Nebraska! or heading south of Alberta and checking out some of the scenery from Montana/ Idaho and back up through Oregon and back into BC.

My time line is tentatively July 22nd to the 31st. If there are any car events going on in that time frame that we could check out that would be great as well.

I've been through Nebraska and it's not very interesting from a scenery point of view. I would suggest the other option of hitting Montana and Idaho as I hear there is more interesting terrain.

Come down and hit western South Dakota (the Black Hills, Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Deadwood) and then head west through Wyoming/Montana/Idaho.

Done.

Different strokes for different folks I guess I love looking at prairie farm land. If it is new to me I can stay entertained. What about it doesn't excite you?

I'd head down through Calgary, enter the U.S. through Glacier Park's north entrance and once you leave Glacier on the south side of the park you'll be in the Flathead Lake area (including Whitefish), which has some nice places to stay and there's stuff going on.

I definitely wan't to head up the "road to the sun" I was hoping to hit that somewhat on our way back. We were planning on ending it off in Sicamous BC.

I spotted the War Hawk museum in Idaho during my searches, is that worth checking out?
