If you can't build oil pressure with it cranking for 20-30 seconds you need to check for a cut oil pickup tube o-ring and a stuck pressure relief valve in the pump and if it is stuck replace the pump.
Thanks for all your advice I got 60 psi during the start so I am good to go. I have a small oil leak where I tapped it on the cavity plate so I need to get another plate, any ideas? Electric fuel pressure gauge did not work but I can manage that. Thanks
I used that. Put a 90 degree fitting on it and you can clock the sensor anyway you want. When i tapped my block off plate and a ls1 block off plate i kept cracking them.
Blue print Engne that has been dyno'd? Just start it up! If it has no oil pressure, send it back. If they indeed ran it, it's fine and I would not try so hard to get pressure my other means
