If you have not booked your cruise yet, I have some tips for you. If you have, maybe this will help with a future vacation.

I have cruised with both Princess and Royal Caribbean, and would say that both are very classy outfits. The key to finding the nicest ship is simply to pick the newest one you can find that matches your desired destinations. For our honeymoon, we went to the Western Caribbean on the Sun Princess on its second week out; amazing!

The surprise fee on a cruise is drinks. You do not use cash on board the ship, so you can rack up a huge bar tab if you like to drink. They even charge for soda. You are not suposed to bring your own alcohol, but some manage clever ways to sneak it on board. Orange juice is free (hint - hint).

If you really want an all inclusive vacation, you may want to look into Sandals Resorts. Drinks, water sports, everything is included. The down side is you only get to see one place.

I like the cruises because I unpack once, and get to see a variety of exotic places. You always have good safe food and water waiting on the ship as well. Be sure to tell your travel agent, maitre de, and head waiter you are on your honeymoon, as they will probably do something special for you.

Congrats on your engagement, and enjoy that honeymoon!

Jen and I used Carnival a few years ago and loved it! Yes it is a younger crowd...but not out of control or anything. I think most of that energy stays in the clubs at night. Lots of fun games and the like to do all day. And yes the food is increadable!! We booked our excursions ourselves to insure that we could do them and I think it saved some money too. Since this was our first cruise my wife found a forum online that answered many questions...worked for us!

Have a great time, and congrats!!

It was a great time. We ended up renting a house on the beach for a week and then we went to Disney World. We had a great time.

Bahama's or something along that line is what I have in mind. I am kinda open for suggestions. Can anyone give me any tips or give me an insight on where and what cruise I should consider. I am trying to find something all inclusive so I don't have any surprise fees.

I am not one to travel much, so for you cruise veterans please give me some information! These websites are killing me.

Thanks

Take a peek at the, "Wind Jammer", Cruise line. We have always really enjoyed them. It's a different cruising style that we have found to be a blast.

Good Luck.

Default Honeymoon

First of all don't go on a cruise. Go some place more personal than a cruise. We went to Tahiti best place ever and can't wait to go again. Just my two cents.
