Jody -

Lead - Call Lisa at GP Superstore. She is doing a GP for me on some Wilwood Superlite 6's at a pretty damn good price!

Hey bro, no hard feelings, from the begining I told you that they would work well for you and I'm sure they will work fine and look killer too. Its a viable option for some people, some people really like the aesthetics and thats fine. Not knocking you for trying to inform others about the GP, just seemed like you wanted to get into a debate about whether they were great brakes or not again.

Oh and Jody hows that story about the pot and kettle go again?

I wrote and i meant; I'm not taking this personnally. I like getting opinions!

I finally bought the whole deal for 1495$ this morning.

www.fbparts.com good deals and it seems they will not be undersold, sounds good to me!

They have LS7's for under 12k in stock.

My car is gonna be a street car to enjoy with the wife and my 2 girls and do stoplight to stoplight blasts when i ride single. (Maybe an occasionnal 1/4 mile run) So i don't care that much.(show car clean, functionnal, killer look, good punch---all i need)

Nova, I got that too late. For some reason i did not get the 2 last messages?
Thanks tough, I look forward to you making me cry ....
(1495$ will be hard to beat for 4 corners tough) And i'm getting my wheels from Frank in appx 2 weeks, so he gets a sale still! (They are of great help)

Thanks (anyway ) for the input guy's.

I can take some more, no worries with me.

Lead.

Oh,

Fatlife, what spindle did you run on your car? Stock?

I now have to figure how to mount those babies...I have different opinions on the compatibility of the C% bracket w/ C6-Z06 calipers.

I think that the rotor being 1" bigger would need the claiper about 1/2" outward from the rotor no?

I looked at Kore3's bracket and sent 2 emails without any anwsers...

Since you put z-06's on and C5's back on i figure they should be the same but you didn't mention anything on this (or i missed it)

Any help here?

Thanks,

Lead.

Lead,

Hate to tell you this, and I'm not sure what was included in your kit but http://www.discountbrakesrus.com has Z06 brake kit for $1,150.00.

Novanutcase,

I finally got to it. Those are not the same. Mine are the C6-Z06 with 6 piston front calipers and 14" rotors. The ones pictured are 13".

You got my heart beating for a sec there...

;-)

DUH!!! Sorry hear is the link:

http://www.discbrakesrus.com/

Uh.......I like Newcastle Brown Ale! JK

Look at the link because there may be something that I missed and that is why it is so cheap. It says it's all Genuine GM so no cheap imitation crap but who knows! Definitely worth checking out though!

Edit: Just read your thread. Sorry I got you excited!
