Tom, 36, grew up in Columbus OH and moved to Southern California when I was 17. Have two great girls, 6 and 8, a very forgiving and supportive wife, and one Camaro that may thereafter be dubbed, "The Black Hole"... since that's where all the $$ goes. I work for a computer software security company.

My name is Kevin Oeste, and my wife Kelle and I produce a TV show called V8TV. We met on the Hot Rod Power Tour back in 1999 when I was working on Hot Rod TV. We have lived in Chicago and LA (Hermosa and Redondo Beach), and now our facility is outside of St. Louis. We’re working on the Royal Sport 1969 Camaro, a 1965 Chevelle, a 1969 Chevelle SS ragtop, a 1949 Chevy P/U, a 1965 Chevy Impala, our 1962 Ford Galaxie 500 XL ragtop, a 1971 Cutlass S (Not S curve… need a name!) and a 1968 Buick Riviera. We have a cat named Gus.

I'm from Belle Plaine, MN...A tiny little town 40 miles SW of Minneapolis. I live there with my wife Kelly, my 2 beagles, and my '65 GTO, '67 Chevelle wagon, '50 Buick Super, and custom '94 S-10. (We have daily drivers too, but who cares about them?)
I came here from the West Coast where I'd been the Tech Editor at Popular Hot Rodding for 7.5 years. Now I've been the founding Editor of Street Thunder magazine for the last two years.
I really like it here. Now, my wife is pregnant with our first child, who should be joining us in July. Between the magazine, the house, the wife, the dogs, and the baby on the way, I'm pretty busy...but I always try to find time for my cars.
Luckily, making progress on my cars counts as 'work' most of the time...which totally rules...
