looking for someone who does custom carbon fiber work

The console is metal and is not reproduced. They all have chips and wear in the center areas with tiny ribs. This is a pic of the rear section and you can see the two areas across the top with the ribs. Although they look fine in the pic in reality they have a lot of knicks in them. So since I have the dash and glovebox piece I thought they would look awesome in the top areas of the console, probably with the console powdercoated black.

Not difficult to make but the front section curves down over the front of the console, so those pieces aren't flat either.

So your thinking just the ribbed area, have a carbon insert? Are you going to mill the ribbs down for the carbon to sit flush?

Just the ribbed area. There is a lip around the area. I was hoping to just attach the carbon fiber pieces over it, either with silicone or 2 sided tape. Milling would be a pain.

How high up is the edges from the rib, that will have a factor on what ounce material you can use for laminate, to sit flush with the raised area, also the easiest way is to take a mold off the top of your console to do the laminate of carbon. Let me check I might have a friend with a 65 console I can get a better look at it that way.

.075" or so, but it could stick a little above without issue. Here's a couple more pics. I can ship the console to whomever to make the pieces.

Alex at wolfdenproducts does incredible work. They do all the CF for Rahal, Michael Shank racing and bunch of other car guys here in town. They have also done a bunch of work for Honda as well. (there is a huge R&D facility not to far from Columbus)

Well you would want to bolt the console together amd make a mold and do a laminate in one piece then trim it to fit the inserts so the grain will flow from side to side and also rear section to front, do you want the grain on a 45 or 90, how soon do you need it?
