I've been surprised in all the years they've done cowl style hoods for the second gens that nobody made it more like the 69 cowl hood it copied. That mod would look great.

Rick has one of the nicest second gens out there imo. I saw it on the '04 Power Tour and it was better in person than in the mags. I think they are a great platform. 70-73 Camaro is on my list to get and the only generation Camaro I have yet to own.

attached are a few more pics of my gen II project... some may have seen the other pics i posted in the "new members" area about a month ago. I'm just finishing up an update to send in with a bunch of pics on the build.

wheels/tires: front=17x8.5's with 285/40/17's
rears=17x11's with 335/35/17's

Thanks!! Yes it's mini tubbed. The rear is narrowed 4"/side and the front is narrowed 1 1/2" /side using Fat Man tubular control arms.

I like the second gen's. Especially with all the new stuff to make them even cooler.

SW, just have your body guy flat black those stripes while he's working on the hood and you're done!

The black Camaro belongs to a friend of mine Georgia. Dale built a very nice car and he is a great friend to boot. His car got lots of attention at the Fall Grand Run. If you buy it you have to bring it, the 69 Camaro and the Mustang to Pigeon Forge this year.
