I disagree. I sold a 66 2DR HT for 4500.00. It needed 1/4 work, floors, trunk, and complete interior redone. It had a running 230/6 and powerglide. It lasted less than 2 days on ebay and the guy came from Texas to get it. (He was happy when he saw it)

I don't think you stole it, but I think the price was fair as long as it doesn't need body work.

Uh oh.... I see some new ideas coming down the pipe. I don't think it is a bad price at all, finding a decent donor 66/7 is amazingly hard these days.

Yeah baby, deuce time!

Well I couldn't convince myself to buy a '66 that sounds like the one you sold.
https://lateral-g.net/forums/showthread.php4?t=8190 Rust buckets come a dime a dozen. If anybody wants this one I can direct you to the owner. I'm looking for one in better shape because I am not a welder or fabricator. I want to learn but who am I kidding with a wife, 2 kids, a house, and already 3 projects.

Good News Everyone! I drove a total of 700 miles today to phoenix from San Diego. And... I brought the car home as well. This car is quite possibly the cleanest 40 year old car ( unrestored of course) that I've every seen. The paint job on it was done prob 6-10 years ago, Aside from the front pass. side fender, every other panel is original and get this RUST FREE!! Glass is perfect, all the trim is there except for the strips that go down the side of the car. Bumpers are decent, nothing I can't hammer out and have re-chromed. I'll post pics tommorow after I spit shine her alittle and see what I'm in for to get her running! Bonus: Still has factory pouch with manual. I think I did well with this buy! No If I can just finish the chevelle First!

Good deal. Pics please

On a side note, I was thinking about the '66 I was about to buy, the guy kept saying "they only made 17000 of these cars that year". Did a little research and the Nova SS with the V8 sold 16800 or so. But it has a powerglide and not the 4 speed. Who's to say it wasn't replaced. Hmmm. And no I didn't check out the VIN when I was there.

Well I would have to disagree. I think that is a great price for that car. I paid
15,000 for a starting project 67 chevy II non ss car.
