15K should get a nice job. Definitely don't start doing it yourself then take it somewhere. You will not save a dime and possibly cost you even more! Find a good shop and let them go start to finish. That is the only way you have a leg to stand on if something goes wrong. It's also the only way a GOOD shop will do it. For an example, I am using a high end shop in my area and he is charging me $13400. All the metal work was already done, so it's just bodywork and paint, and I am providing the materials. He guarantees his work for 5 years. He would never in a million years make that guarantee over someone elses bodywork. Find a good shop and let em have at it!
