To all those who have served, from the militia at Lexington and Concord, Washington's army crossing the Delaware, Jackson at the battle of New Orleans, through Lee's surrender to Grant at Appomattox and the Doughboys who served in WWI to the Aces of Gen. Chennault, those who chased Rommel across Africa and they who stormed the beaches at Normandy, the men who fought the forces of Kim Il-Sung and Mao in Korea, and the men who fought in Vietnam, through to those who pushed Saddam out of Kuwait and the men who now serve in Iraq and Afghanistan, I have no words strong enough, no admiration deep enough, and no sense of appreciation large enough to thank you for what you have done for my world, my country, or my family.
Thank you.
