Why don't you get it titled in your name and then sell it? most people are not going to buy a car without a title. I'd be interested with a title.

It is easy to get a classic registered without a title i bought a 67 firebird with out paper work all i had to do was do a vin tracing and fill out a form i also took pics of the id tags .got insurance for it and went to motor vehicle and got it done right there ........NY DMV just go on your local DMV web site and look up forms and download the ones you need it is that easy ..hope this helps ..Barry

If you use a title company they title the car in your name in the state they are located. You then can sell it titled in your name from that state or have it then re registered in your state. Easy process and makes you wonder how it is legal but it is easy deal and would be key selling point for you.

And just so everyone knows, Broadway Title Company takes AT LEAST 3 months to get paperwork to you now. They told me I'd have mine by the 22nd of LAST month and I'm still waiting. I've called them for the last two weeks and left messages. None have been returned...


I'm thinking about getting my lawyer involved.
