on the 48 hour camaro that i have researched they pulled the bad ass holley intake off and put on a stock intake

Confirmed last night, the hood doesn't fit... as much as I wanted it to, it just doesn't fit for crap. Even with removing the bracing on the hood, it wouldn't do any good.

Oh well...

Anyone got a spare LS3 intake they want to sell me?

that does suck as i was thinking of one for the Nova.

Actually it's too high right at the front of the motor.... go figure!!

Oh well, it's a great piece by holley, made really nice power and it looks totally awesome. I hate to see it go honestly

do you think drop mounts for the motor would help

Damn sorry to hear this, I know all to well about buying things then not able to use them and wishing I could. Still a bad ass car!

Are you able to determine what clearance it would require?
Would you be able to use any other hoods available? Higher cowls are not ridiculous when they are there with a purpose... but they are not going to promote driveability/visibility in the twisties ala auto-x
I guess it depends what the next intake can do. Sorry to hear the At-At Walker will probably be leaving the Blue Hour

Doubt it, I'm using the speedtech frame and mounts, this thing sits 1/2" off the frame already and is 3" off the ground, frame to ground.

I'd need about 4" more clearance. I doubt any hoods are readily available.
