Payton, just found this thread--can't believe I haven't seen it until now. Man, you went all out----congrads on the success thus far! Car is beautiful and I love those mods. That was quite a commitment to tear into it with such a nice paint job on it---props to you for that. Sounds like you are really happy with it and that is great to hear. I bet it feels great to have it running again and knowing that you've made the mods you wanted to make. New wheels look great on the car to bro. Amazing attention to detail on it in all respects. Hope to make one of the RTTH events out your way sometime to meet you and see the car in person.
I actually drove it to work yesterday. Spent 20 minutes talking to people about it when I drove it to lunch.
Really did not plan to go as deep as I did, but once you start down that road it is a slipery slope. Goodguys is here this weekend, along with an open house at Dan's shop and one at DSE. Should have plenty of things to keep me busy.
Funny that you would say that you would like to come out to RTTH. I was thinking I would like to go to RTTC. Not sure if my body could take 3 days of driving in a 69 and I would need to wear ear plugs.
Good meeting you Payton. Car looks great and sounds awesome. I was hoping you'd make it back to Dan's on Saturday so we could put that thing on the lift and everyone could crawl under it and check out that setup
