Default Kicker Wiring to the Trunk ( 05-20-23 )

I finally plugged the Terminator X in for the last time.

Hopefully this will be the last time I have to lift the carpet up. It's time to secure the Kicker wires that head to the trunk.

I pulled out the old ruler for this project.

I made strips of the Sound Deadening to secure down the TechFlex flat loom

I secured the controller behind the console bracket for the time being.

Default Another Trip to D&R Classics (( 05-20-23 ))

I need to give a shout out to Dotty at D&R Classics for hanging out at the store for me to get there 5 minutes before
closing. I can't thank them enough as they are so nice to work with and they always seem to have everything I need for
my car.

I needed water shields for the doors

From D&R I headed to my warehouse to grab the back seat, sail panels and the rear kick panels.

I put a blanket over everything as I really needed some Taco's

Door Panels are in the box :-)

I forgot how much I love the TMI interior.

If you guys haven't noticed the new vendor on Lat-G please go take a look at Screaming Chicken as they have some nice stuff.

All of this needs to go inside the car.

Planning where my door pulls are going to be installed is going to be fun as they have to clear the Ride Tech Tiger Cage Door Bars.

More to come on he Door Pull location

Default Tiger Cage Main Hoop Hardware (( 05-20-23 ))

Okay, So I assure you I said a slew of choice words installing the final hardware for the Tiger Cage main hope. It's not the fault of
the bar it's the kick panels are so close to two of the bolts that you basically have to tighten the bolts a 1/4 turn at a time.

I had to break out the dreaded Anti-Seize !!!!

I laid in the wire gutters and they need some serious cleaning, prep and paint.

Ugh this sucks !!!

I coated them with the Eastwood rust convertor paint and hoped for no rain.

Default Tiger Cage Main Hoop Hardware (( 05-20-23 )) Part II

I secured the leather from the package tray to the rear panel.

Up next it was time to install the rear kick panels.

I discovered two issues. One being the Hoop is in the way and the other is a bump in the kick panel that runs into the DSE Wheel tubs.

Time to cut out a big chunk of plastic. I peeled back the leather and started cutting with my new shears.

Of Course I had to do the same on the other side.

Quess what the hoop is in the way of the kick panel wrapping around the "B" pillar. Ugh !!!!!

About 30 or 40 minutes later both kick panels were installed.

Time to poke the holes for the Seat Belt Planet DOT approve Harness's

Love this back seat as I may have had a little something to do with the Design.

It's in, well kinda the bottoms are not as I still need to pad the hump and install the leather piece that goes over the hump.

It was late so I called it a night.

Default Pieces and Parts (( 05-28-23 ))

Back up in the garage attic we go to look for more parts and also take inventory on what is up there so I stop buying the same parts twice.

Once again I am trying to figure out why the Oil Pressure sensor continues to leak.

Trying at different Teflon Tape.

I picked up some parts from Screaming Chicken and today I will be installing one of them.

Today project will be to install the LED Dome light.

Out with the Old

In with the new

Yep it works

All these tools just to swap a Dome Light

My Daughter helped me poke holes in the carpet with an old Soldering Iron so I could install the Seat Belt Planet 4-Point Harness's.

I ran a tap through every hole as some of them had sound deadening in them.

Installed the wire gutter on the passenger side.

I had the trim the drivers side just a little bit around the Tiger Cage

Default I really hate this Sensor (( 06-03-23 ))

So I spent a little bit of time on the phone with Holley and they have no clue why it's leaking. They suggested I buy a new sensor and to use a Hi Temp Thread Sealant.

I am really getting good getting this thing out !!!

Cure time is 72 Hours so now we wait !!

Default Metal Radiator Hoses & Thermostat (( 06-04-23 ))

Moving on to the Radiator Hoses and replacing the old thermostat.

Good thing it is only filled with distilled water.

Intake tube has to be removed so I can get to the clamps. I will most likely be installing Gates Power Grips on these in the future.

I noticed that I needed to trim the hose so it could seat properly.

Eak, I need to clean this up

What the heck is that

I need to shave a little bit off the Radiator hose and make some sort of bead on the ends

Default Planning ahead for the Overflow Tank drain (( 06-04-23 ))

One of my Pet Peeves is the Coolant overflow Tank drain. I hate when you have to drain it and it goes
everywhere. This time I planned ahead and drilled a hole in the Anvil Carbon Inner Fender just for this purpose.

My feeble attempt at trying to figure out where the hole needs to go.

Perfection
