Fab'd up the inner fender lips. I epoxied them and a portion of the inside of the front fenders since the inner fender will ride up so close to the fender....I wouldn't be able to get any coating in there after their welded in. Once it's welded, I'll clean the weld up with a sanding rope and then use Eastwood's spray tube to get some primer on the seam, I'll coat the inside of the fenders with bed liner later.
I had these seat mounts cut out with a water jet. I know this voids the Cobra FIA cert. but I couldn't make their brackets work. I really wanted to have the option for more adjustment but in order to keep the seats as low as possible, I had to weld the mounts. Only end up with about an inch of forward/back and a bit of tilt. Wasn't expecting it would be so difficult to keep my head away from the cage.
Built the molds for the kevlar/fiber inner fenders.
I built the molds in place using some flooring underlayment and then shaped it with filler. For sure you wouldn't build anything but a one time/one off mold in this way.
What....? PVC rollbars, hot glued in place aren't safe.
The red paint is to help judge the depth of the white gelcoat. I'll do the laminating once the car is back on the rotisserie (soon) so I can turn it over, laminating overhead might be worse than welding overhead.
