If you confirm which Line holders those are post it up. I know a guy who will be spending more than a couple hours doing some brake lines soon.

Those line holders are offered by billet specialties and Kugel Components. I used the BS ones on my FF car. Drill your hole, tap it, and thread those dudes in.

EXACTLY! The BS versions space the line off the chassis -- the ones that are used on the '33 hold the line tight to it.


NOT "deuce" rails.... this is a '33 --- and the rails are custom ordered by Roy to his spec -- and this one is also stretched 2" in the wheelbase.

Yeah I get it! Nice back yard! Sadly Roy takes lousy pictures -- but they are doing a build thread of the car on his website. They told me that once the body goes on the rails and they flip it from the chassis side of the shop over to the body fab area - they'll have enough of a "story" to post it.

I just sent Roy an email to ask about his source for the 1 pc billet brake line clamps -- will post it as soon as I have an answer. I've bought them before - but I'm not in the shed so can't go scrounging for a package... and damned if I can remember. The Billet Specialties versions are 2 pc -- and I like the 1 pc versions like on my frame.

Roy says he has them done for the shop. That also must be where I bought them because I have some at home. I've been buying stuff from them for a long time - so they must have come from their retail store. He said they do carry them "up front".

Their website isn't set up for retail shopping so you'd have to call and ask Dave about them. They're just 3/16" "line clamps".
