Well we're at that point in the build where lots of things are coming together but nothing really dramatic is taking place so I'll give a quick update showing the last of the fabrication that (thankfully) is now just about done.

At the back of the car we've put together a close-out panel that I think really completes the back end of the car:

We'll look at some possible aero enhancements when it's done and we have a chance to actually do some on track testing.

At the front our splitter begins to take shape...

....and that's where we'll leave that for now.

We also got the bulk off the fuel system plumbed. I'm just waitimg on some fuel rails for the LS7 (which seem to be harder than you would think to get) and then we'll be done the fuel side of the equation (for now).

...yes I know, but you should try finding an ano-tuff 180 degree -8 fitiing in this town on a holiday long weekend (or any other time for that matter). I had to go to a fall back price that was sitting in my tool box for now; we'll change that line out this weekend.

We're working on the wiring now - the I Squared panel is proving to be a real time saver making the intall very simple and efficient.

James, Your car has got me wondering if I really want to replace my factory sub-frame with a AME C-6 or not. The styling of your car is spot on to what I have in mind for my 67' , right down to a simular color. Wow, Great minds think alike

Thanks Travis.

There is a lot of potential in the stock subframe. I am obviously really happy with the ATS package (I actually have two Chicane-LM coilover conversions - this one and another on my other '67 project) and would suggest giving Tyler a call if your interested in specifics. He is more than willing to share technical specifications on the subframe to enable you to compare apples to apples.

Sorry that it has been so long since the last update - we are at that point in the build that doesn't really photograph well. Some people might find the work a little boring but some of it is really cool. In the last couple of weeks we were able to get the front spoiler / splitter together to the point that it's ready for final bodywork.

We also spent the last couple of days getting the coils mounted.

We started with these trick billet coil brackets:
These are prototypes that we had machined for us by Matt at RFR. The final product will be anodized but we wanted to evelate the design before moving forward.

Now I just have to figure out where to mount them.
